Before your Transmitter can be used in the simulator, the calibration process in windows must be performed.
- Connect the USB cable to a free USB port on the computer

- Connect the USB cable to your transmitter
|
- Centre all trims
|
- Turn on your Radio Transmitter
|
- If your transmitter has memory for several models, select an unused memory, reset all values (ATV, EXP, No Mixes, etc.), and name it SIMULATOR.
IMPORTANT: Make sure your Transmitter is in mode PPM (not PCM in case your transmitter supports this mode)

- Open the windows dialog Game Devices
In Windows XP, click on Start button, Configuration, Control Panel, Game Devices
In Windows 7, click on Start button, Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Devices and Printers.
Then click with the right mouse button on the game device icon named AeroSIM RC, and select "Configuration" on the popup menu.
- The game device named AeroSIM RC is your USB cable.
Select it and click on Properties.

- The AeroSIM RC Properties window will be displayed. Click on the Configuration tab.

- Click on Calibrate and follow the instructions.

- Axes X and Y are Channels 1 and 2 of your transmitter. Hence, move right the stick (aileron&elevator) describing full circles. Then click on Next.

- Axis Z is Channel 5. If your transmitter has more than 4 channels, then move it from end to end. Then click on Next.
|

|
- Rotation X is Channel 6. If your transmitter has more than 5 channels, then move it from end to end. Then click on Next.

- Rotation Y is Channel 7 . If your transmitter has more than 6 channels, then move it from end to end. Then click on Next.

- Rotation Z is Channel 4. Move the rudder stick from end to end. Then click on Next.
|

- The Slider is Channel 3. Move the throttle stick from end to end and click on Next.

- Once the calibration is complete, check that the red bars move according to the sticks in the AeroSIM RC Properties window.
