Wind
For a more realistic training, you should fly in windy conditions. In the Function Bar press
to open the Wind Panel, from where any wind condition can be set, or press 



to set the wind to one of the presets. The Wind Panel is also accessed from Main Menu/ Environment
Wind Parameters
| Wind Speed | This is the wind speed in Km/h |
| Wind angle offset | Direction of the wind in degrees relative to the runway. A value o 0º sets the wind parallel to the runway, try other values to set cross winds. |
| Pitch angle | Ascending wind when pitch is > 0º. Try 30º to simulate slope soaring. |
| Turbulence | Turbulence can be regulated with this slider. |

Wind Indications
The direction and speed of the wind is represented in several ways in the simulator
The windsock in the scenario shows graphically the direction and magnitude of the wind. |

The Heading Instrument in the Instrument Panel shows the wind direction. |

When the wind direction is not recommended for take off or landing, there will appear this warning on the screen. |
