Camera Normal (Zoom Manual)

This camera mode is selected pushing in the Function Bar, or from the Main Menu / Camera, or pressing the corresponding Key.

This is the recommended camera mode. The camera is fixed at the pilot ground position, and it is always looking at the model. At the same time, it is trying to keep within the screen, the ground below the model to keep the visual references. The manual zoom is adjusted with the mouse.

Each scenario has several predefined predefined camera positions

Zoom 50º	Initial Zoom (21º)	Zoom 5º

The zoom angle is displayed at the bottom left screen corner while the right mouse button is held down.

	Mouse Controls The zoom: can be set by pressing the right mouse button and moving the mouse vertically. Restore Initial Zoom: Push both left and right mouse buttons at the same time.

The perspective Problem and Solutions

If zooming in too much, ground reference are lost, however, if zooming out too much, the model appears very small on the screen.This is a well known issue on PC simulations. To reduce this problem, AeroSIM RC applies three techniques:

• Smart View, that keeps the model and the ground within the screen whenever possible.
• Model Enhancement, a model silhouette that is displayed when the model size on the screen is too small.
• Close-up View, that shows a magnified view of the model in a window.
